Born in Mexico City in 1959, Dr. Sergio Montero received his baccalaureate in Chemical Biology and his doctorate in dental surgery from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, familiar to San Antonio as UNAM.
Dr. Montero moved to San Antonio in 1986, just after the earthquake in Mexico City. While beginning Texas’ rigorous licensing process, he ran a dental lab in San Antonio, as well as spending a part of every month caring for patients in his hometown, the leading general practitioner among a diverse group of specialists.
His Northwest San Antonio office specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry using the latest materials. Dr. Montero’s philosophy is to provide gentle and quality dental care in a state-of-the-art, personalized environment.
